All heads of the international fashion industry met in Paris to pay respects to the late designer Albert Elbaz who passed away this year due to Covid-19 at the age of 59.
On Tuesday, last day of the Fashion Week in Paris, no less than 45 of the industry’s leading designer houses have gathered on the catwalk to respect and commemorate their late colleague by presenting a show labeled “love brings love”.
The participants included Raf Simons, Jean Paul Gaultier, Rick Owens, Virgil Abloh, Christopher John Rogers and more.
The great fashion houses of Gucci, Fendi, Balmain, Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Dior designed dresses in Elbaz’s memory.
In the first row of this special exhibition, next to France’s first lady, Brigitte Macron, sat Elbaz’s old friend Demi Moore and her daughter, Scout Willis. Alex, Elbaz’s spouse and partner, opened this moving event with a commemorative speech.
The participants from Israel included: Elbaz’s family members, the singer Rita, Hila Rahav, Tamara Cohen, Or Bokobza and Shlomi Elkabetz.
